To check for dehydration, lift the skin on the dog’s back near the neck. Release it and see how quicly it snaps back - it should be firm and springy within seconds. when dogs are dehydrated, the skin will creep back slowly or not at all. This means their body is very low on water and they need to see a vet right away.
