I miss blogging here. Anyways, my dogs are sleeping on one big pillow. Sometimes, they would share with the pillow but most of the time they would fight over it just to have the middle/center part of the pillow where one of them can sleep soundly.
I love my dogs so much and I want the best for them. So, tomorrow I will be briniging them into a Dog Salon to have them grooming. They need it because they already have matted hairs and they keep on scratching their bodies. Maybe, the parasites are atacking again and I need to put some Frontline or Revolution on their bodies. It’s not really easy to have a Shih Tzu, one must have the patience, time and dedication if you are planning to get a Shih Tzu puppy of your own. But, even though it’s not that easy and this kind of breed is really exepensive they would really steal your heart after work and would make you smile even if you’re stressed from work.
I am planning to search some Shih Tzu puppies for sale again because I want to have another one. I already have two Shih Tzus here and they give me real happiness! They give me unconditional love and they’re always there for me
Well, I am searching for another Shih Tzu puppy so my two dogs here will be happy again, ahihii…I really Shih Tzus!
Are you a pet lover and a traveler who stays in hotels like hotels in Italy or hotels in Rome? Do you plan to bring with you that cute lap pup or that family dog in staying in hotels in Venice or hotels in Milan? Then you ought to get ready and and prepare before any trip.
Always make sure that the hotel you are staying at is dog-friendly, one that allows you to bring your dog inside. The simplest thing to do is to call them. Always let the clerk know that you have a dog at check-in. Do not try to hide the dog at a hotel that doesn’t allow pets, as you could be asked to leave (probably with no refund), which would be a huge inconvenience, I’m sure.
If your hotel is pet friendly, just make sure to take Jimmy out to potty often, since he may be disoriented from being in an unfamiliar place. I would also crate him if you’re going to be leaving him in the room alone. In addition to the fact that he might be scared, he might take out any anxiety by chewing, peeing, and much other weird stuff.
Before leaving, asses whether the hotel has been good to you and your dog and leave a good tip if so. If you frequent that hotel, that tip would sure go a long way.
Before I signed up on this site I was thinking of the topic or category to put up here. Then, I decided to have "for the love of my dogs" blog and finally named it as Bark with Me. After naming it, I can’t resist to put different articles and entries (based on my experiences) almost everyday. I wrote entries that would help me to remember things for my dogs and to share my experiences with my two cute shih tzus. I never stop putting entries on this blog and found out that I can get paid for blogging. I thought this page won’t qualify for any programs because it only contains things about dogs. But, when I tried to register this blog to Smorty, I was a bit surprised because it passed! Maybe it passed for the following reasons, this has page rank and indexed pages to Google. After reading my email about this program I immediately started and it never stressed me out. I love what I am doing and all of these entries and posts are "For The Love of My Dogs!".
I’ll be leaving so soon… and I can’t bring my pets with me, so my mum will take good care of them while I’m away. It’s safer if they’ll stay at our home rather than bringing them in a new place. They will adjust to everything, and they might have depression….yes, dogs have depression too. They might suffer if they are not used to a certain place, weather, people, etc. Well, I’ll post an article here about dog’s depression so we’ll have an idea on how to handle it if our dogs have problems.
Also, check this real estate agent news..this might help you too..
There are two concepts that mark the posterior development of the puppy: the mother’s dependence and the imprinting. At the beginning the puppy is very dependent of the mother, before the owner comes into the picture. The mother is the first physical image that imprints between the puppy’s third and eighth weeks. This period is known as imprinting, it will allow the puppy to recognize its kind and especially to recognize the later on when mating. If these links have not been established normally, the puppy has no references and that harms its balance. The depressions are usually the last evolving step of anxiety. There are depressions familiar with puppies and those with adult dogs.
The Puppy’s Depression or Indifference Depression: These are very serious problems. The puppy is in the stage of development and any error in its development can lead to fatal consequences. The depressed puppy is very calm. It rapidly shows indifference toward the outer world, it doesn’t look at us in the eyes, runs away from visual and physical contact. The puppy does not stand being held in our arms, it howls and doesn’t play. It will not be capable of going out for a walk and if it does it won’t even move 1 centimeter.
Adult Depression: The dog is completely insensitive to its surroundings and it is incapable of reacting on its own. The following types of depression are show below:
Reaction based depression: it is the consequence of an important shock or a state of stress. It can be due to the loss of a companion, an accident or an important change in the dog’s surroundings. The dog stays still, it doesn’t eat and can be moaning constantly.
- Regression depression: the dog seems like its back to its infancy and has forgotten everything it has learned. This usually happens in the old dog that enters the phase of senility. The animal is dirty and doesn’t stop moaning.
Antidepressants have good results, as long as the owner has the patience to wait a little. It is clear that prevention is the way of avoiding these types of problems, which can lead to aggressiveness.Aggressiveness: This is another type of behavioral upheaval which is very feared by the owners. It can be expressed in different ways and have different etiologies. A normal type of aggressiveness exists; it is an instinct of survival that works when the dog is in its wild state. Aggressiveness is not harmful for the rest and its objective is not to rebel against the rules. We have to be able to differentiate between the inter-specific and the intra-specific conducts of aggression.
The Intra and Inter Specific Aggressions: Intra-specific aggression defines the threat and clash behaviors between 2 individuals of different species. A clear example is the relationship between the predator and the prey, which is not the case of aggressiveness toward humans. The inter-specific aggression concerns the individuals of a same species while defending a territory, hierarchical position, etc.
Aggressive Attitude: Independently from the motive of aggression, the dog usually presents the same attitudes: prickled hair, retracted lips and growling. If the dog is sure of itself, the tail is straight up; if it is scared, its tail will be down. The most dangerous dogs are the ones that show no signs before they attack.
